How LegalDoc-Prep Can Help
Legal paperwork can be difficult to organize when a matter requires several forms, supporting documents, signatures, or attachments. LegalDoc-Prep helps clients organize the information needed and prepare requested documents based on the client’s instructions.
We can also assist with procedural document-processing and filing steps when those services are available for the requested matter. LegalDoc-Prep does not select legal strategies, decide what a client should request from the court, or provide legal advice.
If the service you need is not shown on this page, contact LegalDoc-Prep with a brief description of the requested documents. We will review the general nature of the request and explain whether it falls within our document preparation services.
County-Specific Document Requirements
Some California courts and counties may have local forms, filing procedures, or document requirements in addition to statewide forms. Clients should provide any instructions or rejection notices received from the court when requesting document preparation.
LegalDoc-Prep may prepare requested county-specific documents using the information provided by the client. We cannot guarantee court acceptance or determine how a judge or court clerk will handle a particular matter.
Help With Rejected Documents
A rejection notice may identify a missing signature, attachment, form, formatting issue, or other problem. In some situations, correcting one item may be followed by another request for correction after the documents are reviewed again.
LegalDoc-Prep may review the rejection notice and related documents for common completeness, consistency, signature, attachment, and formatting issues. We then prepare requested corrections based on the information and direction provided by the client.
No document preparer can guarantee court acceptance or judicial approval. Careful preparation and review may, however, help reduce avoidable corrections and repeated filing delays.
Document Preparation at the Client’s Direction
LegalDoc-Prep prepares documents using information supplied by the client. We do not advise clients about legal rights, decide what outcome they should pursue, represent clients in court, or determine legal strategy.
Clients who need legal advice, have a contested matter, are unsure about their rights, or require representation should consult a licensed California attorney.
